At A Shining Star Foundation, we are sharing our light with childhood leukemia patients across the country. We understand that a cancer diagnosis changes your life's path and reshapes how you see the world—regardless of your age. As a cancer foundation, our mission is to support kids as they live through this disease and bring them hope and light during the dark times of childhood leukemia.

Contact our childhood cancer support group today to learn more and join us on our journey of healing.

About Us

A Shining Star Foundation was born from our founder's unwavering and steadfast faith in God. Stephen A. Simpson - our founder and cancer survivor - has lived through cancer four times, including leukemia in 1994. Today, he performs charity work for kids' foundations in children's hospitals across the country. His goal is to visit children with leukemia in every corner of the nation to pray for them, touch their souls, and fill their hearts with love and joy. By sharing his own story of survival and healing, Stephen aims to provide young patients with the understanding and ability to heal themselves and fight childhood leukemia. Learn More ›
